Welcome to Otto Plants (ottoplants.com) or (ottoplants.com.au). By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.


1. General Information

  • This website is owned and operated by Otto Plants (“we”, “us”, “our”).

  • By using our site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian permission to shop with us.

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect once posted on this page.


2. Products & Availability

  • We make every effort to keep product information, images, and availability accurate. However, plant sizes, colours, and shapes may vary slightly from photographs due to natural growth variations.

  • If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you promptly to offer a replacement, backorder, or refund.


3. Orders & Payment

  • Orders are confirmed once payment has been received in full.

  • We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other payment options listed at checkout.

  • Prices are displayed in AUD and include GST (where applicable).

  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, for example, due to pricing errors or suspected fraudulent activity.


4. Delivery

  • We deliver across most of Australia, excluding Tasmania, Northern Territory, and Western Australia due to strict biosecurity regulations.

  • Plants up to 4-inch pots, along with seeds, garden tools, and accessories, can be shipped Australia-wide (excluding restricted states/territories).

  • Plants larger than 4-inch pots are available for delivery within 60 km of Thomastown, Melbourne, VIC. Customers just outside this zone may contact us to check if delivery is possible.

  • Delivery costs and options are displayed at checkout. Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only.


5. Returns & Refunds

  • If your plants or products arrive damaged or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order with photos for verification.

  • Due to the perishable nature of live plants, we cannot accept returns for change of mind.

  • For non-perishable items (e.g., tools, accessories), returns may be accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided items are unused and in original packaging.

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method once approved.


6. Plant Health & Care

  • All plants are sent healthy and carefully packaged. Once received, plant care becomes the responsibility of the customer.

  • We provide plant care guides, but results may vary depending on climate, soil, and conditions.

  • We cannot be held responsible for plant loss due to incorrect care, neglect, or unsuitable growing conditions.


7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on ottoplants.com, including text, logos, photos, and graphics, is the property of Otto Plants and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior permission.


8. Limitation of Liability

  • We do our best to ensure accurate product descriptions and reliable service. However, Otto Plants will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of our website or products.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.


9. Privacy & Data

  • We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
